This is two bee boxes sold together: one deep box and one medium box, with 10 frames in each.
Why buy them together
- Most keepers run a deep box at the bottom for the colony and a medium box on top for honey. This is that pair.
- Buying the two together costs less than buying them one at a time.
- Both are Langstroth size, so they stack with boxes you already own.
How to use it
- Put the deep box on the bottom. That is where the colony lives.
- Put the medium box on top once the deep box is nearly full of bees.
- Take honey from the top box. Leave the bottom box alone. That is their food.
