Why Tapora
We don’t list hundreds of coats. We pick a few pieces that do the job: warm, a clean shape that works over jeans or a dress, and sizes you can check in centimetres before you buy.
Every piece carries its full fabric composition. A blend is always called a blend, faux fur is always called faux fur, and nothing is called wool unless it contains wool.
Our sizes run smaller than UK high-street sizes, so every coat and cardigan has its measurements on the page, plus our estimate of the UK size it usually fits.
Yes. Tapora is a small registered business selling winter coats, knitwear and accessories to the UK. You pay through Shopify's secure checkout (card, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay), so your card details never reach us. Every order is tracked, and you can email us any time at the address at the bottom of this page.
Because we are new this winter, and we will not invent any. So instead of stars, you get the facts: measurements in centimetres on every page, the full fabric composition, and 30 days to change your mind once it arrives.
Every product page states the full fabric composition, with percentages wherever they are known. A blend is always called a blend: our coat is a wool and cotton blend, and we never describe it as pure wool. Faux fur is always called faux fur.
The colour, fabric and cut you see are what we send, and every colour name on the page matches what arrives. If something turns up not as described, email us a photo within 30 days and we will replace it or refund you, including postage.
Our sizes run smaller than UK high-street sizes. Every coat, jacket and cardigan lists its measurements in centimetres and our estimate of the UK size it usually fits. Lay one you already own flat, measure across the chest and down the back, and compare. Between sizes? Size up. The size guide shows how.
You have 30 days from delivery to change your mind (the law gives you 14). Send it back unworn, with the tags on and in its original packaging; socks must still be sealed. You pay the return postage, with no returns fee on top. Faulty or damaged? Email us a photo within 30 days and we replace it or refund you, including postage.
Usually 10 to 17 days from order, tracked from the day it leaves our partner warehouse, and each product page shows your estimated arrival date. If you order several pieces, they can arrive in separate parcels, each with its own tracking.
No. Prices include UK VAT, and there are no customs or import charges to pay when your parcel arrives.
