Most coats this warm are stiff through the shoulder, or so boxy a jumper underneath turns you into a parcel. This one has neither problem: a stand collar that wraps off-centre instead of lapels, a tie belt that sets the waist where you want it, and an A-line cut that skims rather than swamps.
- Double-faced wool. 70% wool, 30% polyester on both sides of the cloth, so the fabric holds its shape rather than creasing flat.
- Off-centre stand collar. Three buttons set in from the edge, closed with a wrap-over front instead of a centre seam.
- Tie belt. Cinch it for shape or leave it loose over a jumper; it isn't sewn into side loops, so you set the fit.
- A-line through the body. Narrower at the shoulder, wider at the hem, which is what lets it layer without bulk.
Fit and size
Finishes above the knee. The shoulder is close to the body; the A-line shape gives room through the body and sleeve for a jumper underneath. Size up if you want more room to layer, size down for a closer, more tailored line.
Fabric and care
70% wool, 30% polyester, double-faced so there's no separate lining to catch or twist. Dry clean only.
Worth knowing
This is a shorter, A-line coat rather than a full-length style — if you want ankle-grazing coverage, it isn't that. Double-faced wool is a heavier cloth than a shell-and-lining coat, so it sits with real structure rather than floating.

Is it real wool?
Yes. The cloth is 70% wool and 30% polyester, double-faced on both sides, not a wool-look synthetic.
How long is it?
It's a shorter, A-line coat that finishes above the knee rather than a full-length style. If you're after ankle-grazing coverage, look at a longer coat instead.
Will the belt stay tied?
It's a separate tie belt rather than an elastic or buckle closure, so you knot it the way you would a robe. It holds through normal wear, but it isn't fixed to the coat.
Will it look like the photos?
The colour, fabric and cut you see are what we send. If it turns up damaged or not as described, email us a photo within 30 days and we will replace it or refund you, including postage.
When will it arrive?
Usually 10 to 17 days from order, tracked all the way; your estimated arrival date is shown above. Order several pieces and they can come in separate parcels, each with its own tracking.
What if it doesn't fit, or I change my mind?
You have 30 days from delivery. Send it back unworn, with the tags on and in its original packaging; socks must still be sealed. You pay the return postage, with no returns fee on top.
Will I pay anything on delivery?
No. Prices include UK VAT and there are no customs or import charges to pay.
