Wind at the bus stop finds every gap a normal coat leaves: the collar, the cuffs, the few inches between hat and scarf. This one closes with horn-style toggles right up to a hood, in a double-faced wool blend that holds its shape through a whole winter of school runs and dog walks.
- Horn-style toggle fastenings. Five toggles close right up to the hood, easier with gloves on than a fiddly zip.
- Attached hood. Stands up to driving rain on the walk between the car and the school gate.
- Double-faced wool blend. 50-70% wool with under 30% polyester, woven so there is no separate lining to twist.
- Roomy, dropped-shoulder cut. Loose enough for a chunky jumper underneath, with deep patch pockets for gloves and keys.
- Below-the-knee length. Covers the thighs on a cold platform wait, not just hip-skimming.

Cut loose and long on purpose, with dropped shoulders and room for a jumper underneath. Runs in S, M and L; take the smaller size for a closer fit, or the larger for extra layering room.
Fabric and care
A double-faced wool blend: 50-70% wool, under 30% polyester, finished the same on both sides so there is no lining to catch or tear. Dry clean; brush gently to lift the pile after wear.
Worth knowing
This is a heavier, structured coat built for proper cold, not a light transitional layer: at around 1.6kg, it brings real warmth with real weight on the shoulders. The hood is fixed rather than detachable, and the toggles sit close enough together that the coat still blocks a draught even half-undone.

Is it real wool?
The fabric is 50-70% wool with under 30% polyester, woven double-faced. It is not pure wool, but it is a genuine wool-majority blend rather than a wool-look synthetic.
Will it look bulky with such a loose cut?
It is roomy by design, with dropped shoulders for layering, but the toggle fastenings and hood keep the shape structured rather than shapeless. Size down if you would rather it sit closer to the body.
Is it warm enough for a proper UK winter?
At around 1.6kg in a double-faced wool blend, it is built for real cold rather than a mild autumn day. Add a scarf on the coldest mornings and it will see you through the school run and the commute.
Will it look like the photos?
The colour, fabric and cut you see are what we send. If it turns up damaged or not as described, email us a photo within 30 days and we will replace it or refund you, including postage.
When will it arrive?
Usually 10 to 17 days from order, tracked all the way; your estimated arrival date is shown above. Order several pieces and they can come in separate parcels, each with its own tracking.
What if it doesn't fit, or I change my mind?
You have 30 days from delivery. Send it back unworn, with the tags on and in its original packaging; socks must still be sealed. You pay the return postage, with no returns fee on top.
Will I pay anything on delivery?
No. Prices include UK VAT and there are no customs or import charges to pay.
