Most wool coats stop at the knee and leave the tie as decoration. This one is cut properly long, double-faced so it holds its shape without a lining, and the self-fabric belt is wide enough to actually cinch in against the wind rather than just sit there.
- Double-faced wool fabric. Two layers woven together for a coat that holds its shape without a separate lining.
- Full-length tie belt. A wide self-fabric belt that cinches the waist, not a thin decorative strip.
- Extended length. Falls well past the knee, longer than a standard wool coat.
- Notched collar. Sits flat and open, or belted up with the collar turned up against the wind.
Fit and size
Cut in a relaxed, straight line with room for a jumper underneath; the tie belt shapes the waist. Sizes S to L. Length and sleeve are measured on size S; go up a size if you prefer more room through the shoulders.
Fabric and care
Around 65-70% wool, with polyester. Double-faced construction. Dry clean.
Worth knowing
This is a longer, tie-waist coat, cut past the knee with a double-faced finish. Our other wool coat is a shorter, 70% wool style without the tie belt; pick this one for the extra length and the cinched waist, that one for a more classic cut.

Is it real wool?
Around 65-70% wool, with polyester making up the rest. It isn't pure wool, but it's a genuine wool-majority blend.
How is this different from your other wool coat?
This one is cut longer, past the knee, double-faced, and closes with a wide tie belt. Our other wool coat is shorter and more fitted, with no tie belt. Pick based on the length and shape you want.
Will it look cheap in real life?
It's a double-faced wool-blend fabric with a soft, brushed finish and a notched collar, no visible branding. The gallery shows the fabric surface and the fit as they are.
Will it look like the photos?
The colour, fabric and cut you see are what we send. If it turns up damaged or not as described, email us a photo within 30 days and we will replace it or refund you, including postage.
When will it arrive?
Usually 10 to 17 days from order, tracked all the way; your estimated arrival date is shown above. Order several pieces and they can come in separate parcels, each with its own tracking.
What if it doesn't fit, or I change my mind?
You have 30 days from delivery. Send it back unworn, with the tags on and in its original packaging; socks must still be sealed. You pay the return postage, with no returns fee on top.
Will I pay anything on delivery?
No. Prices include UK VAT and there are no customs or import charges to pay.
